Supporting Africans from Ukraine in Germany

A. Information

– We disseminate information to provide orientation guide:

– We attend to personal information needs through our Helplines

–  We hold virtual information sessions on legal, education, consular and other matters

B. Arrival Support

We help through the following measures:

– Mobilising volunteers to major arrival centres

– Securing emergency accommodation

– Mobilising volunteers to visit group accommodation facilities to check on the situation of Africans there

– Supporting integration into the local African community – Churches, Mosques, Afro Shops etc.

C. Education Advice

We help through the following measure:

– Supporting them in finding possibilities for the continuation of their studies in Germany or elsewhere

D. Advocacy Support

We help through the following measure:

– Mobilising POC and migrant organisations to influence municipal authorities for a dignified treatment of the Africans fleeing the war in Ukraine in their localities
